When Kommer Kleijn (1959) was preparing to shoot his first movie, the Gulf War had just started. The film industry in Belgium was in ruins, and Klein’s moment seemed gone. Rather than letting it frustrate him, he decided to take advantage of the time to study visual effects, animation and 3D. Now, his telephone doesn’t stop ringing, and he is overwhelmed with constant requests for guidance on stereographic films.
